I’m Barbara! A Nigerian American who is so happy to meet you! I am a product designer based in Connecticut. My journey to product designing is unique but one of the best journeys I have been on so far. As a former teacher, I understand that getting a point across isn’t merely about sharing facts but, based on finding ways to relate to others and how they consume the information you need to deliver.
I love innovating my way through a challenging process. To truly solve a problem in the best way, I need to keep the end user’s dynamically changing requirements at the forefront of all my creative ideas. This requires constantly re-evaluating and changing my problem-solving approach. A practice with which I’m all too familiar from my teaching years.
I have a great ear for taking in user feedback and translating that into a better experience, after all, students can be some of your harshest and most straightforward critiques. If there is an error in your approach, you’ll be sure to know about it.
When I’m not designing I’m most likely running a half marathon, eating some good New Haven pizza or teaching myself photography.
